What we are up to
11 CHURCHES IN TANZANIA
CICC Global now has eleven churches established in Tanzania under the leadership of Bishop Fredrick Simon. These churches are spread over large areas from Kigoma in the West to Dar es Salaam in the East.
More churches are planned as CICC Global commits in Tanzania to the vigorous vision for church planting and evangelism for which the ministry has become known. Praise God for His leading and His empowerment. Despite the powers of darkness which would come against the Gospel, the cause of Christ will be forwarded by the power of His Holy Spirit. This is not something achieved by human effort, but by the call and power of God alone! Hallelujah!
MINISTRY IN TANZANIA
The first week in August, Ralph visited Tanzania. The local church hosted a pastors’ conference at which Ralph ministered for three days. Public meetings were held every night from Thursday until the next Tuesday night with a number of people being saved and many more being touched and ministered to by the power of God.
The presence of witchcraft and the powers of darkness are evident in Tanzania as in many parts of Africa. As people responded to the grace of God to be saved, demons often manifested. These
were dealt with in the meeting and then the person was carried carefully by deacons or pastors out of the church building to a place under the banana trees where further healing ministry was administered.
As every altar call was given people crowded to the front for ministry. Many prophetic words were given which resulted in people being set free from the chains that bound them.
In times of great blessing it is important that we give all the praise and glory to God. He is the One who gives the victory! Hallelujah.
Greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world (See 1 John 4:4)!
LAND CLEANSED
Every day brings opportunity for overt spiritual warfare on the front line in Tanzania. The bleating of a lamb when there was no lamb alerted a Pastor to the fact that something strange had taken place on the land where his church now stood. This was further indicated by the fact that people in the church were becoming ill when they passed a certain part of the property. The Pastor asked the neighbours about the land’s history, only to discover that the previous owner had hosted a meeting of witch doctors on that land, casting spells against those he considered his enemies. As part of the spell casting a live lamb had been buried – right at the spot where church members were becoming ill.
After hearing Ralph’s exposition of Acts 19 and how the apostles came against the Principalities and powers of darkness, this pastor asked Ralph and Bishop Simon to come and break the curse on the church land. The pastor had prayed himself but he asked that we come as well. Our combined ministries meant that the power of the curse was broken in Jesus name. The ministry of the Holy Spirit through the blood of Christ means that the land is now cleansed. Praise the Lord no more people have fallen ill and the “lamb” has fallen silent!
Greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world (See 1 John 4:4)!
